Richard Hayman
Richard Hayman , died 5 February 2014, aged 93, He was a member of the Borrah Minnevitch Rascals before becoming an arranger in Hollywood where he recorded the huge harmonica hit, Ruby. He went on to work for 50 years with the Boston Pops Orchestras before moving to the St Louis Symphony.
He recorded many LPs of film and popular music as arranger, and conductor. He was one of the top players of the chromatic but he usually performed with the orchestra rather than as a soloist.
