This is a picture by Peter Blake inspired by the entertainers who appeared at the Chiswick Empire from its opening in 1910 until its closure in 1959. look out for Borrah Minevitch, Johnny Puleo and the Rascals, who toured the UK at least three times and even did two Royal Variety Performances in 1947 and 1949. It is part of the Chiswick Timeline Project (Year 2017) for Abundance London.
